The Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard Law School is seeking corporate and foundation support for a two-year program to develop an open platform for experimentation in digital rule making and peer governance. The objective of this open source project is to provide a testbed for conducting strategic multi-disciplinary experiments on competing approaches to authentication, intellectual property permissions, trust building, self-governance, privacy, payments and accountability. Founding supporters would work with the Berkman Center and its advisors in achieving the project’s research goals and participate in yearly seminars on the issues raised by research findings.
Gruter-Berkman Roundtable Series - A continuing series of discussions at Harvard Law on research into trust and implications for the design of digital social exchange platforms such as eBay and the building of peer governance platforms.
