Mike is a physician and founder of the StoneGroup, a consultancy primarily engaging the health care sector and dealing with cross-sector issues of leadership development and group effectiveness. He is also an associate of CEO-Praxis, a growth strategy company engaged in economic and business development in secondary markets. Prior to the StoneGroup, Mike was a Bush Fellow at Harvard where he studied policy at the Kennedy School, innovation at the Business School, and management at the School of Public Health. This experience gave him his unique inter-related perspective on our health care system and fluency in the private, public, and social sector languages of the system. Mike has over 15 years of experience in practicing medicine, with significant experience in health care education and program design. Mike holds an MD from the University of Minnesota and a MPA and MPH from Harvard.
